RAMBUTAN


Type:  ​FRESH RAMBUTAN (NEPHELIUM LAPPACEUM)

Origin: ​Vietnam

Appearance:  Round shape densely covered by pliable spikes, red skin and white flesh.

​Sweet, fruity flavour with a hint of acidity reminiscent of strawberries and grapes.

Characteristic:  Free from pests, mold, fungus and other skin defects. Bright red peel and fresh spikes

Shelf life: ​3-5 days

Storage temperature:  ​10-12°C

Harvest time:  2-3 years from cultivation date

Common weight: Average pcs/ kg: 40-55 (Thailand), 50-65 (Java)

Brix:  18-20 (Java Rambutan)
